Czinger 21C beats Koenigsegg once more; units new Laguna Seca lap report
The Czinger 21C has set yet one more lap report at Laguna Seca, reclaiming the crown from Koenigsegg.
The Czinger beat the earlier lap time set by the Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear final month. The 21C went across the racetrack in 1 min 22.30 seconds, in comparison with the Koenigsegg’s 1 min 24.16 second lap.
The 21C is powered by a mid-mounted, 2.88-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine coupled with an 800 V electrical drive. The electrical motor drives the entrance wheels, whereas the petrol engine powers the rear axle. The mixed output is a meaty 1350 hp.
Its rival from Sweden packs a twin-turbo V8 engine, which delivers 1625 hp on E85 gasoline. The Sadair’s Spear weighs 35 kg lower than the normal Jesko, enhancing its power-to-weight ratio past 1:1.
With the report damaged, the ball is now in Koenigsegg’s courtroom. I’m positive they are going to be again to problem Czinger quickly.
