Over 53,000 autos scrapped beneath London ULEZ scheme
The London-wide Extremely Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) scrappage scheme has eliminated greater than 53,000 older, extra polluting autos from the capital’s roads.
A brand new report printed by Transport for London (TfL) confirms that the scheme has performed a big function in lowering dangerous emissions and enhancing air high quality throughout town.
Since its launch in January 2023, the scrappage scheme has helped 35,094 vehicles and 17,964 vans both be scrapped or upgraded to ULEZ-compliant autos.
