Lil Wayne Calls BS On Ex-Bodyguard’s Assault Lawsuit
Lil Wayne denied any wrongdoing after his former bodyguard sued him for an alleged assault. In response to courtroom paperwork obtained by In Contact Weekly, the New Orleans native requested a Los Angeles County courtroom to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Carlos Christian.
Christian accused Lil Wayne of punching and threatening the bodyguard with a gun throughout an incident on the rapper’s Hidden Hills, California residence in 2021. Christian sued his former employer for assault and infliction of emotional misery in 2023.
Lil Wayne allegedly pointed a semiautomatic rifle at Christian and punched the bodyguard within the head, per the lawsuit. Christian feared he was going to get shot. He claimed his former boss “acted with malice” with “a willful and aware disregard” for Christian’s security.
“It moderately appeared to plaintiff that [Lil Wayne] was about to hold out the menace,” Christian’s lawyer wrote. “Plaintiff suffered extreme emotional misery, requiring him to hunt psychological well being remedy for Publish-Traumatic Stress Dysfunction (PTSD) stemming immediately from this incident.”
Lil Wayne insisted he acted in self-defense. His lawyer mentioned Christian suffered no accidents by the hands of the Hip-Hop star. The lawyer advised the courtroom Christian “did not train affordable care and diligence to mitigate his alleged damages.”
Christian referred to as the cops on Lil Wayne over the incident in 2021. Weezy’s group contested the bodyguard’s allegations and mentioned he didn’t even personal a gun. No expenses had been filed.
