Chinx Homicide Suspect Sentenced To 23 Years Jail

Chinx’s killer, Quincy Homere, has been sentenced to 23 years behind bars for the 2015 homicide of the rising rapper. 



Homere, certainly one of two males charged with the homicide, pleaded responsible in July. Chinx’s heartbroken widow, Janelli Caceres-Pickens, was in courtroom as Homere was sentenced on Monday (August 13).  

Whereas addressing the courtroom, Caceres-Pickens grew to become emotional, reflecting on the tragic loss.

Chinx was killed in a drive-by capturing in 2015. Homere and Jamar Hill had been arrested and charged with second-degree homicide and different related costs in 2017. Whereas Homere initially pleaded not responsible, he subsequently accepted a plea deal. Hill’s case remains to be pending.
